On Nov. 25, 2011, Code held its Read Africa Ball at the Rosehill Venue Lounge in Toronto. The event, hosted by Entertainment Tonight Canada’s Rosey Edeh, featured African sounds, a silent auction and a raffle. Close to $30,000 was raised to support Code’s literacy and education work in developing countries. www.codecan.org
