On June 17, 2012, Consiglio Di Nino (a former Canadian senator) recognized staff members and volunteers of Villa Charities for their dedicated service to peer members and the community. They were each honoured with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in the rotunda at the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery at Columbus Centre. The exceptional award was created to mark the Queen’s 60 years
on the throne.
