His remarkable creations are set in gold trays and wrapped in fine paper – just as they do in Italian pasticcerie. “It is an indulgence from the get-go, beginning with our packaging, right down to the presentation of the product within it,” says Macri.

“We wake up when most people are still sleeping and fire up the ovens so that when you begin your day, all of our products have been created fresh for you as you were having sweet dreams,” says Macri. That includes specialty cakes for weddings or other celebratory events, as well as novelty creations that will leave your guests in awe. From cakes skilfully crafted into Tim Hortons cups, guitars, timepieces and more, Sweet Boutique can create anything you desire. “Our most unique request so far was to build a chocolate box that would hold an engagement ring,” smiles Macri.
