Stilettos for the Cure

On June 7, 2011, more than 250 amazing women came together for the first-ever Stilettos for the Cure event. Featuring over 400 pairs of donated stilettos, the evening included a shoe auction, live entertainment by comedian Richard Ryder and singer Michelle Peavey, pink carpet photos, and a fun photo booth. A dedicated team of volunteers spearheaded by co-chairs Tina Dezsi and Tamara McKee raised more than $15,000 for the Heather Griffith Breast Assessment Centre at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
