Hats On For Awareness, a non-profit organization, hosts an annual fundraiser, The Hatsquerade, to support the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in its efforts to create widespread awareness of this disease. The organization has committed to raise $250,000 for the CAMH Volunteer Lounge at the hospital, which will provide a hub for client-focused activities and a Telephone Support Line, providing referrals to essential services. Dreams Take Flight

The 6th annual Dreams Take Flight gala was held on Oct. 20, 2011, at the Toscana Banquet and Conference Centre. Seamus O’Regan of Canada AM hosted the event, which raises funds to bring special children to Disney every year. The successful evening included a live and silent auction, flights donated by Air Canada and autographed jerseys and hockey tickets provided by Brian Burke, general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Safehaven Gala Celebrates 21 Years
