CIBC Run for the Cure

On the last Sunday in September, 62,000 men, women and children joined together at one of 22 run sites in Ontario for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure. Participants ran for their mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters and friends. Their amazing efforts mean that the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation will continue to invest in relevant and innovative research and continue to support and advocate for the breast cancer community. Together they raised $13.1 million in Ontario and over $30 million nationwide. Next year’s run is taking place on Oct. 6, 2013.

On June 25, 2012, hundreds of people came together for an event to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF). Taking place at David Pecaut Square in Toronto, Cook for the Cure PINKnic included a flashmob dinner presented by KitchenAid Canada. With wine donated by Inniskillin Wine and a special appearance by popular chef Lynn Crawford, the event was a grand success. Funds raised from this fun-spirited evening were donated to the CBCF.

Fifth Annual White Cashmere Collection 2008 – A Touch of Pink

Wardrobe at this fashion show was made entirely out of white Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, with touches of pink. Taking place on September 19th, 2008, the event supported the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Featured in the collection was the limited edition Pink Cashmere Bathroom Tissue, marking Canada’s first coloured bathroom tissues in a decade.
